Redesign of the signage for Media lab prado adapted for people with functional diversity. People with functional diversity are more sensitive to signals, since it’s really important when it comes to orienting themselves in closed environments, these pictograms have to be clear and concise, adapted for everyone. For the realization of these pictograms I collaborated with Ademo association and Afanias association. I did a survey prior to the development of pictograms about color, typography, composition, formal elements and basic processing guidelines. Defining limitations and reinforcements for understanding. Also an investigation on pictograms and alternative systems to the communication. This allowed a series of conclusions for the realization, defining the grid, the choice of typography, the basic shapes of the pictograms. Making sketches and test these to check their understanding and improving the possible problems of narrative understanding. Where it was concluded that the pictograms should have a low degree of iconicity where it is very close to reality and are also narrative type focusing on the essential elements easily recognizable.
